On Wednesday, May 16th, Samantha Yachiw, Wheelchair Curling Instructor visited a new spinal cord injury at City Hospital to teach him the basics of curling.
With the help of Recreation Therapist, Sherri Nelson, a friendly competitive game was played. Samantha provided the future curler with information about Wheelchair Curling in province. We will hopefully see him playing on the Provincial Wheelchair Curling team in the near future.
